Civic Society Objects to Conversion of 3 Hatfield Road into Flats

Hatfield Road is a pleasant and intact Victorian environment characteristically defined by the generous space between the semi-detached villas and the handsome stone boundary walls and entrance pillars enclosing the original gardens to the front of the properties. The proposed elevated side entrance will in itself be visually intrusive and detract from the plain stone gable ends very much in view. Also objection is raised to the proposed removal of the stone boundary wall and garden to provide car parking.(16/P/1925/F
